Why do you want to join the CEA?
Because I went to serve and protect the well being of the Universal Union and order on the streets. I want to eliminate rebellious anti-citizens who pose a threat to UU, and the loyalists and citizens that lie below us. I have 10 Loyalty Points which proves I am loyal.
What do you think the CEA will be like for you?
I think it will be tough, but since I've never experienced it for myself I will have to wait and see.
What are you expected to do in the CEA?
I am expected to complete orders without instructions, and enforce the laws of the Universal Union to eliminate anyone who poses a threat to the UU.
What is your character's background story(Make this VERY LONG)
Daryl grew up in the country with a wife and 13 year old child in the country side of Steubenville Ohio. On March 23rd, 2012 robbers broken into the house armed and his wife tried to fight them off with a pot of boiling ramen noodles, but unfortunately she was shot 3 times in the torso shortly after she scarred a robber with 3rd degree burns. His wife told him that they kidnapped their daughter and injured one of them with their dinner shortly after they looted everything. Daryl called 911 but shortly after the paramedics and police arrived it was too late for her; the police sent out search parties in hopes to find the murderers and the child but shortly after a couple of months they canceled the search. Daryl wanted revenge for everything those robbers have done to him and his family, and he quickly scrambled through his contacts book and called his father about the situation.
His father said "I'm sorry about your loss son, and I'll help you in every way I can; why don't you come over and I'll show you how to use your my old rifle from the Vietnam." Daryl's father was a marksman and he took out top priority targets during his service in the Armed Forces. After an hour of driving he arrived in his parents house on the country side of Pennsylvania at midnight, his father was smoking a cigar on the front porch and said "Why don't you head inside and get some rest, I'll start teaching you in the morning." Next morning his father brought out his old m24 and Nermin was stunned at the sight of such a beautiful rifle. Him and his fathers made makeshift markers with a couple of sticks, potato sacks, hay, and permanent markers. At first Nermin was a terrible shot, but has he learned more and more as sniper rifle works such as the elevation and wind, and how to range in your targets he became better. On December 4th 2012, Daryl tried hunting game in the woods but it wasn't his marksmanship it was his horrible skill at stealth. Over the months he taught himself how to be stealthy by being patient, waiting for the right moments, avoiding noisy objects that could get him compromised, and camouflage. On March 12th, 2013 he was confident that he was good enough at being a stealthy marksman, he moved back to Ohio and his father gifted him his m24; Then he signed himself into the hunting competition with the reward of 12,000 dollars to find and tag a rare Buck in the Ohio forest.
The competition started July 7th, and he took school on survival and first aid because he figured the competition would last a couple of days or weeks. On July 6th all 100 hunters gathered in the forest where the Buck resides and camped out the day before the competition started. On the brink of day the Hunters were Signaled to start a competition by flare, and so it began. Weeks went by and no luck, Nermin picked up constant trails of Deer but they weren't the one that matched the description. Then one night he was awoken by screaming, Nermin rushed out of his tent and ran towards the screaming and there was the Buck who ran over the hunter. Daryl with his m24 in his hand, shot the Buck clean in the heart and it fell over, he ran to the hunter and saw he had deep wounds from the Buck's antlers. He ran back to his tent, which was close by, he cleaned dirt and pieces of antler bone out of his wound and, then he stopped the bleeding so he could sew up the wound to bandage it. After rescuing him, he tagged the Buck and dragged it back to his camp. He cooked the hunter a nice steaming bowl of baked beans and let him stay at his camp until the next morning. The very next day he brought the Buck and his new found friend back behind the entrance of the forest and the buck was checked and it was a match! Daryl won the competition with a staggering 12,000 dollars; with the money he won Nermin went to the gun store and sold his m24 for 1,300 dollars and bought a Dragunov SVDs. He bought a lot of mods into the gun, like a suppressor, advanced scope with built in wind and range scanner with the remaining money he had. He traveled back to his home and began the search for his long lost daughter but he didn't know where to start, so he called his friend from the forest and asked if he could help; He said "Yeah, I know a few tricks to help you out, I'll be right over."
His friend turned out to be a hacker, and volunteered to help but wouldn't share his secrets. After a couple of days of hacking his friend found out that the kidnappers were going to ship her to an auction house to be sold off to a slave owner. Daryl drove his pickup by himself to counter the shipping route by blocking the road; Daryl hid out on the hill that night waiting to ambush the kidnappers. He knew them when he saw them because one of the robbers had a scarred face with 3rd degree burns; as soon as the car with his daughter stopped he sniped the driver and passenger, both robbers died that day, and removed all evidence of their existence. His hacker friend covered up the failed delivery by imitating the kidnappers saying she escaped and couldn't be found, they were fired and never heard of again. Him and his Daughter lived in peace until 2014.
When the combine invaded downtown Steubenville his friend drove to his house and said he had a plan. His friend took his daughter and his weapons with him in their car and drove separately, after a couple of minutes a strider walked in front of the path and shot a charged shot at Daryl truck but missed, but the explosive force flipped his truck over and His friend and his daughter got away. Daryl was took captive and 2 days later he was placed in City 8 for 2 years. Later after a catastrophe with the Lambda group a lot of the Residencies were destroyed and a third of the citizens who's homes were destroyed were moved to City 17 were there was avaliable space. After a couple of days of living in his apartment near the Slums, Lambda Mercenaries kidnapped him and at took him to the drop off point in the sewers. The ziptie and gag were removed and the kidnappers were nowhere in sight, instead it was his old friend and his daughter to his amazement. He said he made a deal with the lambda in City 8 to firebomb random apartment complexes in hope that Daryl would be moved and to kidnap him in exchange for tokens to fund their rebellion. After a couple of days of visiting he took out his Dragnov SVDs out of a weapons bag, gave him some discrete clothing, kevlar and told him to leave for the safety of his daughter; but he was allowed to visit at certain times. After all these events it leads to today. ( [OOC] I know this backstory sounds rebellious but it was meant for another application that I wasn't able to make and note that It's not rebellious towards the UU. Also sorry for writing it in 3rd person [supposed to be for another app])
