Why do you want to join the CEA? I'd like to join the CEA because I wish to gain respect, show authority and I hear the food is much better.
What do you think the CEA will be like for you? I think it will be a great experience in my life, and will helpl me with my life throughout the years.
What are you expected to do in the CEA? I think I am expected to follow the commands of my superiors, and support the glorious Universal Union.
What is your character's background story(Make this VERY LONG)
Hi, my name is Joshua. I was born in the city of Minot in the state of North Dakota. I lived there with my mother and father until I was 14, then we moved to Florida. When we were in Florida, my mother had 2 children, my new brother and my new sister. My brother's name was Parker. My sister's name was Sydney. I should also say my parents' names are Jessica and Joe.
While we were in Florida, I learned most of the stuff that I know. I know hand-to-hand fighting, I know how to speak 4 non-native languages, I know very, very much about technology, and I know some basic medical knowledge. When I was in my mid-20s I joined the police force for my county. Doing that, I learned even more stuff, including weapon training. When it comes to mercy, I don't have much. Or, well, it depends on who I'm arresting. So yeah, that's when I lived in Florida.
After Florida, we decided to move back to North Dakota. My grandfather had died, and we were going to a reception. The year was 2012, and I was age 28. That's when it happened. After the reception, we were driving home. Then a strange, big black hole appeared in the sky. These weird, white-tan things were flying out of it, and I now know that those are called gunships. The synths were taking down buildings, and killing millions upon billions of people on Earth.
I was one of the extremely lucky ones who lived. I was hiding out in the fallout shelter that our school had. Me, and about 300 other people in my town had survived. Later, soldiers had infested the streets, taking the living citizens and putting them in a large city. I honestly don't remember much after that point. All I remember after it is that they tried as hard as they could to seperate family. In the large city, the black hole was still in the sky. A giant, metal thing had fallen from that hole, banging staright into the Earth, embedding itself into the soil.
I later found out that it was a 'Citadel' provided by our 'Benefactors'. I was put into a city called City 18 after that. I lived in City 18 for a few years, but not for too long. A resistance had uprisen against the Combine, so for our safety, they deported all citizens. They deported about 1/4 of them to City 17. City 17 is the city that I currently live in. I have made a few friends and comrades in this city. I'm now applying for the CEA, hopefully going to get accepted.
